Majora's Mask: The Untold Story ((Official RP))

Mako leaned his head out the door. "I can't come down and join you," he called out. "My apologies." He frowned, irritated at being incapacitated by his wound.

Ipsa took the strange book from the woman and flipped through the pages, frowning a bit.

"I... I can make out a small bit of the writings here, but I don't think I've seen anything like it in my mistresses' recipes or notes." She looked at the woman. "I'm sorry. What exactly happened to you?"

Vina sighed.

"I just traveled through some cursed woods and got punished for it, nothing that special. And if you haven't seen alchemical symbols like these in the notes of your instructor, then I'm pretty sure I'd be wasting my time here."

Taking the book back, she puts it away and returns to her feet.

"That book was how I learned to make potions. Unfortunately, I was never really good at it, and your mistress sounds like her methods have closer relation to a hedge witch's knowledge of herbal lore and experience with lesser magic than the more scholarly approach I was taught..."

With a few casual gestures, Vina's handbag begins to hover. A faint aura can be seen around it.

"I suppose I'll have to go back to the town I arrived in," she says, largely to herself. "With any luck, there'll be a library there. Failing anything else, I should at least be able to find a comfortable inn to study at, or something similar..."

Lost in thought, she begins to wander back the way she came, when something makes her stop.

Turning, she looks back at the girl she'd been talking to.

"Actually," she remarks, "I could use a part-time research assistant... if your care-takers are agreeable, would you like to accompany me for a while?"

Vepo looked up at the elder witch. "Just not used to so many people about in one place. Surprised me a bit to much. I will be fine, but I think I should be leaving. Thank you for your time" Vepo stood up and looked about the shop, seeing all that had went out. He looked over at Mako putting his head outside. Vepo quietly walked over and asked, "would you like ta go outside my brother? I will take you if you want."

Hirvi found herself wandering again, lost in the swamp. She began to spin around wondering which direction she came from. She continued for a bit then shouted, "Anybody around this place? Is there anybody who can get me out of this place?" She looked about again. "Figured that wouldn't work. Might as well pick a direction and start that way. Never know where I'll end up, might be fun." she started walking until she heard what she thought was talking. She slowly approached what appeared to be a hut, and spotted many folks. She felt unsure if she could trust them, but she needed help. She griped her sword and calmly approached. "I am a bit lost around these parts. Anybody here that can help me out?"

Caro stepped back a bit from the group before her. There, she thought, Vina got some help. Everyone's okay from here.
While everyone was talking, she took her leave. No one would notice if the odd little scrub was gone. Caro scuttled out of the Swamp, back towards Termina Field.

The offer came caught Ipsa completely off guard, she almost found herself tripping over her feet at the mention.

"Er, well, I. I don't even know your name Miss-" Just then another newcomer appeared to the group, the perfect timing. Ipsa spun around to face the newcomer. "Yes, you just follow that path until you see the tourist hut. You'll find the exit of the swamp right next to it" She pointed towards the pathway mentioned, her arm almost trembling. She was never good with big decisions and hoped that it didn't show.

"Kandora," Vina answered, not really checking to see if anyone was paying attention to her. "I apologize for simply springing the idea on you like that, but I just thought... no, never mind. I'll be on my way now."

Vina begins walking in the direction the girl indicated, mentally berating herself for thinking that someone might have wanted to learn from her.

Hirvi let go of her blade. She looked at the girl that addressed her and smiled. "Thank you much miss." She looked about the group, surprised of the diversity. "Good day to you all, and if any is heading to Clocktown company is welcome." She simlpy smiles and starts heading out of the swamp.

Caro pulled her hood close around her, concentrating on the two thorns on her wrists as she ran. She had been letting them grow out ever since she failed miserably to even pick up a sword. With these, she thought, I can fight like a real Garo!
Heading east, she passed through the entrance to Ikana Valley. The old grave-robber wouldn't be out this time of day, she thought as she turned towards one of her favorite spots- the Ikana Graveyard.

koria looked up her rage finally gone. her mind was calmer now after she finally got that out. "Vina!" she looked over at the frail woman," I do belive you'll be need transport in your current state. May I? "

Vina looks to the lizalfos who had been so kind to her.

"I'm not entirely helpless," she says, "but I could use some help with my bag. Since the ward I placed upon myself takes magic power to maintain, I'd rather avoid using spells for something so trivial."

And then, in a gesture that she'd probably regret later, she calls out to the girl who lived at the potion shop.

"My name is Vina Kandora. If you want some help with your lessons, you're welcome to find me. I'll probably be heading for the town with the clock tower north of here."

Koria gave a soft nod lifting herself out of the water and gentally slinging vina's bag over her shoulder, not a truely heavy load for her own reptilian kind. "so we're heading to clock town hmm?"

Vina nodded. "If it's not too inconvenient, of course. I understand if you think you might have some trouble blending in. Now then, if you'll excuse me for a second..."

She carefully digs through her bag, and pulls out a book... that contains two knives being used as bookmarks...

"I don't really expect much trouble," she remarks, "but it pays to be prepared, doesn't it?"

keep those daggers love. You'll need them far more than" she shifted her body slightly to show the chain whip and a very lethal looking version of a hookshoot, "besides... I think I have something that would pass me off as a far nicer individual than I look now..." she smirked before walking over into the bushes.

Vina pauses as Koria heads into the bushes.

"It's not just the weapons," she notes. "The book itself has a few of my more combat-oriented spells in it. I'm not really trained to fight, but I can cause a little damage when I need to."

Koria emerged several minets later dresses in an elegant kimono and with rather large pants, because of her more feral anatomy, that fit over her legs quite well.(( think a bangaa with a kimono ))

Vina looks her companion over critically.

"Hmm... not bad. At least no one can claim that you have poor taste... well, I'll just have to see if I can talk us out of any trouble we might have with villagers."

She turns back to the road, and begins to re-trace the path she had taken just that morning.

Koria gave a nod and followed close behind trying to keep out of the stronger parts of Vina's aura. Looking about the swamp for any signs of danger.

Mako looked up at Vepo, nodding slightly. "I would welcome the assistance...I don't wish to be a burden, and I want to help whoever it is down there." He gave a dry smile. "This damned leg, heh."

(wah, sorry for super-late reply, was gone all day)

Ipsa let out a relaxing breath as the woman headed out. What an interesting individual, she'd probably be a powerful ally... Well, she wasn't a warrior in training, was she? Just a potion apprentice on the road to controlling the apparent fire inside of her body. She gave a warm smile to the woman and the reptile leaving with her.

"My name is Ipsa Hashmat, maybe someday that offer will be taken up. But for now, my place is here." Suddenly she remembered the Zoras still inside the shop. How was Mako to get down the ladder in his condition? To go up was one thing, but do come down? She had started up the ladder only to get almost spooked into falling as her mistress poked her head out the window.

"Don't even think about coming back up here! Guess who forgot her task, I need those mushrooms girl! And you were looking in the wrong place anyway!" The witch slammed the window pane as Ipsa slapped her temple.

Idiot, spotted mushroom in the Woods of Mystery, sepia mushroom in Termina field. She climbed down the ladder and began speeding into the woods, not giving much of a thought to the others in front of the shop. They'd find their way out just fine, you DID point them in the direction of the path. Now, sepia in Termia, spotted in Woods of Mystery, sepia likes to grow around tree roots, spotted likes to grow in moist areas around large boulders...

Vepo simply looks at Mako with a smile. "It is no burden. Let's get started then." Vepo lifted Mako up on his shoulder as Kotake shut the door. "Don't know what that is about, but if ya still wish ta go brother, we can?"

Mako held on tight, not wanting to slip. "I...yes. Yes, let's go."

Javen watched as everyone slowly emptied from the shop and area. he kicks off from the tree he was leaning against and moved over to the Zora, smiling gently. "Any place in particular you headed? I'll help you to it. If you want..."

Mako shook his head. "I don't know where anything is here in Termina. Hyrule is a long way from here." He chuckled softly. "No idea where I'm going from here. I do want to make sure that person the Garo was talking about is safe, however."
