Mako winced as he thought about it. "About three, four weeks maybe...I don't really remember exsctly." He looked at his injury and made a disgusted face. "It's pretty bad...River Zora gored it with a sharp rock, if I recall correctly." He gave a wry smile. "Nssty little bugger."

"mmm had one for lunch recently~ take it as revenge" She continued ot look upon his wound before walking into the woods for a few seconds coming out with a handful of the large leaves found in southern swap. pouring the lantern oil over to sterilize them."now.. you'll need to forgive me about this... but we need to get the infection draining, otherwise this is only going to spread and get far worse."

Caro chuckled despite herself. "That is rather impressive," she mumbled quietly. She then looked about again, as if in a hurry. "You seem to be in good hands now. If you don't mind... I really have to be getting back to the swamp- er, to the swamp.. I didn't come from there.." Stupid!
Abruptly Caro sprang to her feet and headed off in the direction of the swamp.

"there's something about that one..." Girl. I need you to clean him up a bit, he should be fine after alright, try to find some shelter, the people in clocktown would run us all out if they saw me with you, it would be best if I left.". She rose to her feet and watched the garo run" I need to get moving...",she quickly ran off towards the swamp, the garo barely in sight. but still track able.

Mako turned to Ipsa, gritting his teeth as he held the leaves to his leg, the oil stinging. "Well...looks like it's just you and me now," he grinned wryly. "Normally I wouldn't impose on you to help me, but seeing as I'm injured and I don't know where I am, it looks like I'm at your mercy."

Ipsa nodded at the reptile's orders, best to stay on its good side. As it and the small cloaked creature headed back towards the swamp, she turned back to the Zora.
"Can you stand up? That potion wasn't the most potent I've ever made, so I don't know if it's done that much good. I could take you to my mistresses, they're the witches that run the potion shop in Woodfall. It's not far from here."

Mako nodded his agreement. "That sounds like the best plan...hnnghh." With a pained grunt, he managed to his feet, using his spear as a staff. "My name is Mako, by the way. Thank you for the potion."

She flinched as he pulled himself to his feet, but worked a smile on her face, trying to hold her nerves.
"My name is Ipsa. And you're welcome for the potion-." She almost mentioned how it was a practice from the other day, but quickly corrected herself by pulling her cloak hood back over her had. "Um, Woodfall's this way."

Mako followed her, limping and wincing with each step. "So what is this place called?" he asked, squinting up into the rain.

Caro cursed repeatedly as she scuttled as fast as her legs would carry her. I'm really in for it this time, she thought wryly. Caro had been sneaking off to Ikana Canyon more and more often, yet no one had stopped her thus far. She knew it was only a matter of time before she was caught. Quickly she whipped past the Swamp Tour, leaping onto a lily pad.
For a moment she felt like something was following her. Glancing over her shoulder, Caro spotted no one. She shrugged it off and hopped on the water, skipping over and over from lily pad to lily pad. As she finally approached the Deku Palace, she removed her cloak and scuttled through the entrance to the palace, leaves whipping behind her.
Finally the rain and the wind began to ease. The sky calmed itself to a drizzle as the birds slowly began to sing again, emerging from their perches. The figure hidden under the hollow log emerged, darting off into the field and disappearing.

Koria gave a small hiss as the deku made it's way through the swamp. The waters here were different today... something odd about them, an almost ominous feel to them. she put her hand in the water and gave a taste. No... They were clean. But maybe. Just for now. She looked about, she wasn't keep on jumping from pad to pad. So she did what most lizalfos would never do; She dived into the water with blinding speeds. within seconds she was at the small pass to the witches hut.She muttered to herself looking about making sure nothing was missed. Grinning as she caught a glimpse of torn cloth on a lily-pad. The garo had moved further on... Wait!? Could she be planning to sneak into the deku palace?... Clearly this Garo had plans, and Koria was eager to know what was going on. She dived once again into the water, sliding up against the tunnels wall and watching the shrouded figure run inside.

As the rain began to ease Javen smiled and twirled, slinging water around were he was standing. As he stopped he noticed a strange merchant entering from the south entrance. He was tall and lanky, he seemed exotic and his dress was highly fancy for something so simple. On his back was a pack of large items. He was smiling eerily as he gently walked to the clocktower, looking around and smiling at Javen before entering.
Javen followed behind the man, hoping this "peddler" wasn't a thief in disguise. As soon as he reached the bottom of the stairwell a clockwork door slammed shut. "Curious...." He sat behind the door just over the pool and waited.
Hours passed. Not the normal hours either. The air grew so old it's was like the staleness of a tomb when the door opened again. "What the?" The Smiling man stepped out of the door and chuckled even more creepily than he smiled. Javen was silent as he watched the man hold a somewhat heart shaped mask.
"I finally have you! Now my collection is complete! Come, Lets go home." The creepy man said as he started to dance up the stairs of the clock tower and out the doors.
"I don't think... this will end well" Javen said approaching the door only to have it slam closed in front of him as if denying his passage, "Riiight... not well at all."
(I apologize if i'm overstepping my bounds a bit. I just thought i'd add something about the mask guy since garo had the Skull kid. ^.^ )

((No worries Javen- I was just doing it to keep the story going along. Though just so everyone knows, for the most part I'll be controlling Link and Skullkid unless otherwise mentioned. This way I can keep the RP going at a good pace. Any other game characters are up for whoever to control as they see fit :3))
Caro dashed past the guards, yellow leaves flying behind her.
"Hollyhock, where do you think you're-"
"None of your business!" Caro exclaimed, dashing into the eastern Inner Garden only after tossing her leather cloth under some brush. Almost there, Caro, Caro thought proudly, You're almost in the clear!
"I'm here!" Caro proclaimed aloud, as she approached a group of Scrubs, all about the same age as her. In their arms they each held varying sizes of Deku Pipes. As Caro slowed in her approach, the eldest Scrub of the group scoffed and motioned with her head in the direction of the last pair of pipes.
"Holly!" a young, male scrub quietly called as Caro grabbed her pipes. "Father was looking all over for you. Where did you go?"
"None of his business," Caro glared, "And none of yours either. Father's too busy with the King to be worrying about me anyway. When is he gonna learn?"
Abruptly the group began to play the Sonata of Awakening. It was far from a "star performance", but even amongst the inexperienced players, Caro's terrible musical skill stuck out. Her little brother shot her an awkward glance, as even he was better than she was.
Caro glared back. Who cared about this stupid song anyway? Not like she would ever enter Woodfall Temple.

Koria made her way into the castle grounds, the two guards up front asleep. she thought to herself for a second and giggled, taking out some flint and walking past the two guards silently before scraping the tow pieces together and just getting one of the guards leaves smoldering, she was already climbing the walls out side the main chamber before the guard and his cohort noticed. Silently giggling ot herself as she watched the tow frantically try to put out the fire, eventually getting it out with one sucking up as much water as he could and becoming a leafy wooden pressure washer blowing the other one back. She eventually made it to the top of the chamber, watching the band practice from above, looking about for the cloaked spy she was tracking.

"Very good, Scrubs," the elder Scrub said flatly, wrapping up their practice. "You all need to go home and practice considerably more, however." She shook her head, as if scolding, and fluffed the flower sitting atop her head. "Dismissed."
"Holly!" the tiny Scrub called to his sister as she started to stomp off. "Holly, where are you going? We have to go practice!"
Caro gave a disgusting sneer. "Stop calling me that!" Looking about for anyone who might be watching, Caro snatched up her leather cloth and folded it up under her arm in a huff.
"Hey, look," her brother whispered, pointing outside. Caro rolled her eyes and came over to peek at what her brother was pointing out. She giggled despite herself.
"Is that.. the Princess? Sneaking off with a monkey??" She looked back at her little brother with a solemn expression before the two burst out laughing. "What kind of Princess hangs out with monkeys?"
Caro's little brother shrugged, as his expression grew somewhat serious. "Should I go tell father?"
Caro scrunched up her snout in distaste. Before responding, however, she paused. If the King and Father are off worrying about the Princess, I'll be able to sneak off unnoticed! "I would tell him for sure. That's a pretty urgent issue. What if that monkey kidnaps her? Or sneaks into Woodfall Temple?"
"Oh no!" her brother exclaimed, instantly running off to the throne room.
Proud of herself, Caro sneaked away. To her surprise, the guards were no longer at their posts. Shrugging it off, she covered herself once again with her leather cloth and headed back towards the swamp.
Meanwhile, out in Termina Field, the sun had returned. The lanky, child-like figure had returned, and was playing in the grass with two fairies.

Koria watched the events unfold, the argument between caro and her brother, and than caro donning her robes. The garo she had met before was not an assassin or a spy sent to the deku's, it was a deku. She had her way along the palaces walls, bending in easily with the red markings. waiting just above the door, the guards once again asleep.

The sun crests over the walls of Clock Town, and falls upon a heavily-breathing heap of rags. Upon closer inspection, the rags turn out to be clothing, tailored to someone far heavier than the gaunt figure huddled within them...
Vina Kandora, scholar of history and lore, silently cursed at herself. There had been other roads to Termina. Longer ones, to be sure, and most of them overrun with highwaymen... but at least bandits wouldn't have done what the forest did to her!
Vina's breathing slows to its normal rate, and she tries to compose herself. Her clothes hang a little loosely now, but she finds that she can still heft her travel bag easily. In fact, it almost seems lighter now-
In a moment of panic, she drops the bag and goes through everything she'd packed in it. Spellbooks, check. Research tomes, check. Light reading material, check. Two changes of clothing (which look remarkably like what she's wearing already), check. A week's worth of travel rations, her maps and wet weather gear, her emergency weapons... all accounted for.
And you call yourself a scholar?
Vina jumps, and looks around for the person who said that. The voice was male, deep, and dripping with malevolence.
Not over there! it casually remarks.
Vina stops looking, slowly becoming aware of just where that voice is coming from...
Nhrhrhrrr... you're catching on, then...
And Vina realizes that the Lost Woods left its mark...

[Then I wish to claim Happy Mask, And several Great Bay Characters, Namely the pirates, The Fisher Guy, The Scientist, and Evan And Japas(supposedly my father)XD]
Location: Entrance to Great Bay
Javen smirked as he leapt over the small sand diggers with ease, taunting them till the bigger ones emerged. Their innards always sold the best and made the best food. After a few larger ones were dead he began picking though the remains. A Rupee, here and there, snagged from some unfortunate soul. And there... the heart. One of several ingredients for a Zora's Potion. After a few rounds he entered the great bay, seeking the old man.
Swimming out to the platform he climbed up and then again, up the stairs, opening the door to the.... Unique, housing.
"GOOD NEWS! Hearts! Perfect, just what I was looking for. Evan was here earlier saying Lulu was sick." The old man crooned, "The recent weather has been making a mess all over the bay. Even the pirates are getting antsy."
"Please old man... Just give me a few fills and the Rupees for collecting them."
"Alright, alright. Keep your fins on... Or not... I'll pay extra for them" He chuckled.
"Old man... You really are messed up, more so than your face is."
The old man cackled as he held up two bottles full of a sea-green potion and a third of a orangy mixture. "Instead of Rupees, here."
Javen's eyes fixated on the mix, "Umm?"
"It's dinner.... Reef Stew, with a little cheese"
"Thanks?"
The man cackled as he turned around and started measuring the remaining innards and hearts. "Mmmm... This isn't good. Somethings not right. You know it, I know it, everything knows it. I hope whatever it is comes to an end soon, especially since i want to go tot he festival this year."
Javen smirked as he opened the door and looked back, "I'll keep an eye open for you. This year's going to be the biggest one yet. The festival is a bit off but even now the town is just busy. See ya later old man."
"Good luck, Fry!"
(LOL... sorry, that creepy scientist ALWAYS reminds me of Farnsworth XD)

"It's called The Old Hags' Potion Shop, it's owned by my mistresses." replies Ipsa as the two neared the Southern Swamp tourist house. She turned to the Zora "Wait here, I need to ask one of them for a ride over to the shop." The rungs on the ladder were slippery but managable, she had to wipe her hands off on her apron once she got to the top. "Normally I'd take my broom, but I don't know if I could control it with a passenger. It shouldn't take a minute."
The inside of the hut had a welcome warmth fueled by the many torches on the walls. Ipsa gave a welcoming nod to the larger man behind the counter as she walked over to the walled off half of the building and rang the bell on the tiny window. A pair of large pale eyes and a large nose faded out of the blackness.
"Oh, hello dearie. What brings you here?"
"Well, um, you see." Ipsa was always nervous asking favors of her teachers. "I was out gathering mushrooms for Kotake and I found this, erm, Zora. And he was wounded you see, so, um, I was wondering if you could give us a ride to the potion shop so he could get better." All the wile she fiddled with a small rip in her cloak, afraid of looking back at those pale eyes. Koume grunted and the eyes disappeared. Ipsa leaned in farther before jumping at the loud boom made by the door of the makeshift shelter being unlocked.
"THIS I have to see." muttered the witch as she shuffled towards Ipsa. "Zoras hardly ever venture from the coast, and to come here of all places? It's no fun, the water's too shallow. Come on, show me this Zora of yours." She nodded in obedience to her mistress and quickly opened the door for her, the witch shuffled to the edge of the porch and looked down. "Well, gods be. Yep, you weren't kidding there." She nodded to Ipsa and shuffled back in. "Don't be asking him questions then, whatever he's doing this far from home is his business. 'Sides, he might be just a thief lookin' to swindle a couple of Rupies off a couple of old ladies... And if that's the case," She grinned at her apprentice, holding up a finger which began to glow red. "We'll have ourselves some fun now, won't we?" Ipsa gulped and nodded at Koume, who chuckled as she headed back to her little half of the hut. "The ride is free, make sure he doesn't fall over the side. I won't have a death record on my tours".
It took a bit for Ipsa to gain control of her nerves again. It had been a month since she began living with the two sisters and they still managed to give her the willies. She gave a friendly wave to the Zora before scaling down the ladder again.
"Um, don't pay her any mind. She's... Eccentric, over 395 years."

Caro stood at the entrance to the Deku Palace. She shivered, as she felt a pair of eyes on her. Why did she continue to get the feeling of being watched?
"Come out," she commanded, puffing out her chest and feigning some sort of power. "I know you're there!"

It hadn't taken long for Vina to find the right text describing her new condition. Fantastic legends were her specialty, and the Lost Woods were about as fantastic as you got in Hyrule. The answer had been in one of her own textbooks.
"The Lost Woods have been known as a death trap for travelers throughout Hyrule's history. In addition to tales of fairies, and the unsubstantiated legends of the Kokiri and the Great Deku Tree, the forest has also been known to alter travelers. One man who spent a single night wandering the Lost Woods returned to his home village emaciated and singularly panicked.
By the morning after his return, he was nowhere to be found. His entire family was slaughtered, and the man has not been heard from since."
Vina now knew why.
Oh, come now. It's so much fun dancing around as a skeleton! Think of it as the ultimate form of nudity.
"I don't want to think of it at all, thank you!"
And yet, here I am!
Vina wanted to scream. She settled for silently crying in frustration and despair. She was cursed, slowly turning into a monster whose idea of fun was to slaughter everything it had a chance to, and for what?! All she'd done was chosen to take a shortcut through the forest!
Well, it was clear that she couldn't stay in town. At best, she had a week before the curse would overwhelm her, and the best thing she could do right now was to head as far away from any form of civilization that she could before that happened.
Drying off her tears and cleaning off her spectacles, she headed resolutely out of the nearest gate. Wherever this road went, she would follow it to the end.

Ipsa tilted her head, he really was lost. "No, this isn't Hyrule. You're pretty far from that. This," she waved her hand at the scenery around them "is the Southern Swamp of Termina. You're quite a ways from Hyrule." She helped him step onto the large wooden boat and gave two knocks on the floor of the boat, letting Koume know all the passengers were on safely. Then the "tour" began to drift through the purple water.

Mako's eyes widened. "Termina? I've never heard of Termina before...must have been really delirious to travel out this far..." He sighed, shrugging noncommittally. "What does it matter though...it's not like I can go home anyways." He trailed his fingers in the murky water absently.
